Hosting opportunities are available. Biographical Information Steven Chabot is the U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 1st congressional district and a member of the Republican Party. He previously represented the district from 1995 to 2009. He currently serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Middle East and South Asia. Congressman Chabot was appointed a Commissioner of Hamilton County, Ohio in 1990, and was elected later that year and again in 1992, staying until 1994. He served on the Cincinnati City Council as a Republican beginning in 1985. Congressman Chabot earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of William and Mary in 1975. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
