BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION James Cunningham will join the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, Romania, as new Senior Commercial Officer in summer 2012. Prior to this role, Mr. Cunningham served as Commercial Counselor at the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Cincinnati, Ohio from 2009 to 2011. He also served as Commercial Consul at the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai, India, from 2005 to 2008. Previously, he was Principal Commercial Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 2002 to 2005, Commercial Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, Mexico from 1999 to 2001, and Office Director and Senior Trade Specialist at the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Los Angeles, California from 1995 to 1998. Mr. Cunningham has also served in Washington, DC, at the Office of Antidumping Investigations at the International Trade Administration and at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. Mr. Cunningham earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University. |
